Ardmore Roderick participated in the Advent Health Corporate 5k in Orlando. The team enjoyed an evening of movement, connection, and friendly competition. Together, participants helped raise over 100,000 meals for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Congratulations to all who took part!

A milestone moment for Chicago.

We were proud to stand alongside our partners and the community to celebrate the groundbreaking of the CTA Red Line Extension—one of the most transformative transit investments on the far southside of Chicago.

This 5.5-mile extension will bring four new stations to Chicago’s South Side, creating critical connections for communities that have long been underserved—expanding access to jobs, education, healthcare, and opportunity.

At Ardmore Roderick, our vision is clear: Reimagining Infrastructure to Improve Lives and Communities. Projects like this bring that vision to life, where infrastructure becomes a catalyst for equity, mobility, and long-term community impact.

As part of the Program Management team, we are proud to help lead a project of this scale and complexity, working alongside our partners to deliver a system that will serve generations to come.

This is more than a transit project.
It’s a step forward for Chicago.

A strong finish to a year of STEM learning at Hungerford Elementary.

From hands-on activities to student-led sessions, it’s been rewarding to watch these students grow in both knowledge and confidence. Our final Jeopardy-style activity was a great success, thanks to the leadership of Corporate Work Study Program students from Cristo Rey High School and support from our AR volunteers, Ka’Nard Robinson, Malinda Labbe, and Dave DeCator.

In celebration of National Quantum Day, we’re taking a look back at this exciting moment from earlier this year.

Ardmore Roderick Building & Facilities Department team members, Donna Pilot and Jon Campbell attended the Innovation in Chicago Life Sciences, Quantum Computing and Biotech summit. The event was held at the newly opened Hyde Park Labs, the South Side of Chicago’s first commercial, purpose-built advanced R&D lab building.

Leaders from the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) shared an update on its construction and operations. The facility, on the site of the former U.S. Steel South Works plant, is a first-of-its-kind park built for quantum technology scale-up and related advanced microelectronics research and development.

Ardmore Roderick is a delivery partner at the IQMP site providing engineering design and coordination services, demonstrating the expertise we bring to complex, multidisciplinary advanced technology developments.

From his beginnings on the South Side of Chicago, to leading a nationally recognized firm, Rashod’s journey reflects resilience, purpose, and a commitment to creating opportunity for others.

During Friday’s panel at Grainger Auditorium, honorees reflected on their time at Illinois, the paths that shaped their careers, and where they see the future of engineering heading. A common theme emerged: the next generation of engineering will be defined by bold thinking, continuous learning, and lifting others along the way.

This recognition is not just a celebration of achievement; it’s proof that perseverance and purpose can create lasting impact far beyond the path you start on.
