Chicago Jesuit Academy Renovation & Expansion

Chicago Jesuit Academy Renovation & Expansion

Project Details

A $25M expansion increases education and programming space supported by better access and parking.

The Chicago Jesuit Academy is a tuition-free Catholic elementary school on the west side of Chicago for students and families from resilient communities impacted by historical disinvestment. A new, three-story, 20,000 SF addition to the existing school greatly expands capacity while solving the site’s drainage and water retention challenges. Ardmore Roderick provided civil / site development design and professional land surveying to prepare the site for the expansion, including site grading, stormwater detention, and stormwater permitting.

Ardmore Roderick also led significant coordination with the Chicago Department of Water Management. Through technical excellence and a focus on community well-being, Ardmore Roderick’s contributions to the Chicago Jesuit Academy project exemplify the firm’s core values. Investing in people, promoting inclusion, and serving clients are central to Ardmore Roderick’s approach, ensuring the work performed today leaves a lasting, positive impact on future generations.
