Widening and reconstructing Busse Road from Central Road to Golf Road introduced a closed drainage system, a shared left-turn lane, and ADA-compliant sidewalks and shared-use paths. Ardmore Roderick played a crucial role in Phase II engineering services, conducting detailed surveys to identify right-of-way needs and facilitating smooth coordination between the design team and CCDOTH. Additionally, Ardmore Roderick developed Maintenance of Traffic plans using IDOT standards to ensure continuous traffic flow during construction. This included temporary pavement and signals, and precise signing and marking plans to accommodate significant traffic shifts. The team also performed quantity takeoffs and created detailed cost estimates, ensuring accurate planning and execution of the project.
