University of Chicago Keller Center Renovation

University of Chicago Keller Center Renovation

Project Details

Transformation of a historically significant residence hall provides scholars with better teaching, event, and research space.

As construction manager for this 125,000 SF renovation, Ardmore Roderick managed the delivery of a new home for the University’s Harris School of Public Policy. While retaining and preserving the key features of its original construction, the redesign incorporates new ideas and technology in sustainable development.

The project includes a complete renovation of the existing building and a partial fourth floor with a green roof terrace, a renovated basement, and a central four-story atrium called the Forum. Ardmore Roderick helped create a facility that not only serves the university but also contributes positively to the surrounding community and environment.
