Reconstructing and widening the Central Tri-State Tollway relieves congestion and revitalizes old infrastructure.
The Central Tri-State Tollway from Balmoral Avenue to 95th Street serves more than 300,000 vehicles daily. Ardmore Roderick was a member of the team that reconstructed the roadway and rehabilitated bridges on a portion of the tollway between the O’Hare Oasis and Balmoral Avenue. In addition to providing Phase III Land Surveying Services, Ardmore Roderick conducted quality assurance and quality control as-built survey checks. Work included reconstructing median shoulders, widening mainline pavement, reconstruction of entrance and exit ramps, and widening, repair, overlay, and substructure rehabilitation of bridges.
