Lockheed Martin Space Logistics Center Site Development/ New Construction
Project Details
Engineering a new facility helps Lockheed Martin transition storage and distribution activity to a new location.
A new 48,000 SF facility allows Lockheed Martin to relocate storage and distribution from Sunnyvale, CA, to Titusville, FL. The new facility includes a high bay stockroom, hazardous material storage, shipping and receiving areas, and support spaces. Situated on the same parcel as an existing Lockheed Martin building, the design team incorporated site elements to create a cohesive campus. All life safety systems, HVAC systems, physical security, and interior and exterior cameras can be centrally monitored. Shared secured access and dock spaces enhance efficiency. Through collaboration with Lockheed Martin, the design advanced to meet evolving requirements.
As a trusted partner Ardmore Roderick continues to support the goals of Lockheed Martin by providing building maintenance to improve the longevity of the building.
