Ardmore Roderick is providing Phase III engineering and construction inspection services for the Illinois Department of Transportation’s (IDOT) I-80: Rowell to Gougar Road Project in Will County, Illinois. This critical infrastructure project focuses on modernizing and widening a key section of the I-80 corridor to enhance traffic capacity, safety, and operational efficiency. Key elements include closing the existing median to install pavement for a future third lane, improving the Briggs Street interchange for smoother traffic flow, and implementing drainage, lighting, signage, and traffic signal upgrades. The project also includes constructing noise abatement walls to reduce traffic noise impacts on local communities.
