As a leader of Phase II project management in District One, Ardmore Roderick oversees highway improvement plans, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and coordination with other District Bureaus, IDOT’s Central Office, outside agencies, and design consultants. Major projects include the 9-mile western section of the $1.2 billion I-80 corridor reconstruction from Ridge Road to US 30, involving mainline pavement reconstruction, new auxiliary lanes, bridge repairs, and ramp improvements. Additionally, AR staff manage eight bridge replacement projects over I-290 in Chicago and the I-55 corridor from IL 129 to Lorenzo Road, including Phase III coordination at Lemont Road. Responsibilities also include resolving environmental, right-of-way, utility, and permitting issues.
