I-55 At IL 59 Interchange New Bridge Construction

A new bridge helps pave the way for better access to I-55 from nearby communities.

Constructing a new, two-span bridge adjacent to the existing IL 59 bridge over I-55 is advance work for a subsequent project. A diverging diamond interchange will ultimately facilitate full access to the interstate from nearby communities. As construction manager, Ardmore Roderick ensured that the contractor adhered to the plans and specifications of the contract and coordinated with all local stakeholders for project status updates. Coordination with an energy infrastructure company with multiple gas lines beneath the bridge was critical to the project’s success.
