EOWA, I-294 To I-290 – Tri-State & Franklin/ Green Street Widening and Reconstruction

Reconstructing and widening the Central Tri-State Tollway relieves congestion and positions the tollway for future transportation demands.

This project widens and reconstructs portions of the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and creates an interchange at the Elgin O’Hare Western Access (I-490). The net 3.42 mile project area creates retaining walls, reconstructs a bridge and widens the I-294 expressway to provide five lanes in each direction. As a member of the engineering design team, Ardmore Roderick provides a wide range of survey, civil engineering, lighting, and structural services.
