2023 City Wide Resurfacing Program – City Of Aurora

Comprehensive construction oversight helps the City of Aurora maintain its approximately 2,100 lane miles of public roadway, right-of-way, and parkways.

Ardmore Roderick provided construction observation in accordance with Illinois Department of Transportation and City of Aurora specifications and construction standards. The project included the removal and replacement of concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk, updating sidewalk curb ramps to achieve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and utility structure adjustments. In addition, the project included milling existing HMA pavement and paving hot-mix asphalt polymerized level binder, and surface courses and pavement markings. The project’s focus on ADA-compliant upgrades highlights our shared dedication to enhancing accessibility and improving the overall quality of life for all members of the community. Through open communication and collaboration, Ardmore Roderick helped deliver a project that meets both current and future infrastructure needs for the City of Aurora.
