Project Details
A new and realigned road offers better connection between important Chicago destinations and reduces crashes.
The Wells Wentworth Connector links Chicago’s downtown to the city’s historic Chinatown neighborhood. The project also realigns Wentworth Avenue to form better links between destinations within Chinatown. As a member of the construction management team, Ardmore Roderick managed improvements of the roadway, bridge, and streetscape along S. Wentworth Avenue and S. Wells Street between W. 17th Street and W. Roosevelt Road. This work included road construction, new traffic signals, roadway lighting, and construction/replacement of multiple railway bridges.
