Touhy Avenue Reconstruction, Phase II

Road improvements throughout two counties simplify transportation around one of the busiest airports in the country.

The Touhy Avenue project is part of extensive transportation system improvements within Cook and DuPage Counties that support the regional Elgin O’Hare – West Bypass. Ardmore Roderick provided Phase II engineering services as part of the design team for Mount Prospect Road to Elmhurst Road to the north and west of O’Hare International Airport. Improvements included a new ramp, reconfigured road, quadrant bypass connector, reconfigured intersection to improve access, and new grade separations.
