Damen Green Line Station Project

Damen Green Line Station Project

Project Details

A new Chicago Transit Authority elevated train station restores rail service to an area without a station since 1948.

The new Damen Green Line station at Damen and Lake Streets is comprised of two expansive platforms interconnected by a transfer bridge. The station has a comprehensive range of amenities, encompassing fare collection mechanisms, LED lighting solutions, and an array of security equipment. Canopies of uninterrupted expanses of glass and steel offer shelter on the platform. Two elevators and an escalator ensure seamless transportation for commuters.

Ardmore Roderick performed construction inspection and documentation on the project, ensuring the contractor followed the plans and specifications while communicating daily with the contractor and client. Beyond its technical achievements, the station represents an investment in the social fabric of the community, promoting mobility and economic opportunity for residents. Our involvement in projects like this reinforces our mission to advance infrastructure that makes communities better and ensures sustainable urban growth.
