This project consisted of constructing a two-span bridge over I-55 adjacent to the existing IL 59 bridge over I-55. This work is in advance of a later project that will construct the remaining diverging diamond interchange. Along with the bridge construction there is earthwork, lighting, temporary ITS and drainage improvements. Kinder Morgan, an energy infrastructure company, also operates and maintains multiple gas lines under the proposed bridge and coordination with their team is critical for the success and safety of the overall project.

As Construction Manager, Ardmore Roderick ensured that the contractor adhered to the plans and specifications of the contract and coordinated with all local stakeholders to provide project status updates.
