Ardmore Roderick is the Program Manager for Lockheed Martin Space providing Advanced Planning, Design-Build services, and Maintenance Services for their campus in Titusville. Our Program Management services started in 2019 to support the Lockheed Martin Space consolidation of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program, and the relocation of the headquarters of this program to the Florida Space Coast. This consolidation is projected to be complete by 2023.

Through our advanced planning services, we provide design approach solutions to facilitate an effective set of requirements and streamlined designs for site improvements, renovations, new construction, and site development in support of the overall consolidation of the FBM program. Throughout this process we have led multiple sessions with stakeholders to determine project requirements and space relationships to create the final designs for the new areas. These sessions coupled with feedback from our engineering and construction team members helped to create over 50 different Task Orders for individual renovation projects in the “dominoes” needed for the overall consolidation effort. Each task order was completed as a Design-Build project and has been successfully used to complete dozens of projects worth approximately $32M since we started the contract.

The types of projects have included new secure suites for classified work, updated furniture and finishes throughout, consolidated office areas and reconfiguration of functions to create more efficient use of space. Upgrades to the HVAC, data, fire alarm, access control and power throughout the existing B810 facility. Interior demo of an existing building (B811), down to the structural members, to allow for a new configuration to accommodate offices, secure labs, and a large board room/meeting room for upper management. The final component of the FBM consolidation efforts is the construction of a new Logistics Center (B819) to act as a warehouse/distribution center for the campus and nearby manufacturing facility.

The multiple projects that we have delivered for this client under the Design-Bid-Build model have a full range of services, including Professional Engineering Services, Construction Management, Quality Assurance and Monitoring, Project Controls, and Field Support Services.
