Ardmore Roderick provided on-site owner’s representative and construction project management services for multiple facility renovation projects at the 2.2 MSF Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control facility Sand Lake Road complex in Orlando, Florida. The Ardmore Roderick Team represented the client as a liaison coordinating between the design and construction firms for a new build-out and renovation projects. The focus on the work was on Employee Experience projects. These projects enhanced the common spaces used by the employees to make them up to date and more pleasant. Due to the high-profile nature of these projects, they tend to highlight the challenges inherent in the process and procedures in place between the customer, the design firm, the construction firm, and the owner’s representatives. Because of our experience and excellent past performance record, the leadership at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control trusted Ardmore Roderick to represent them in these high-profile projects. Renovation work at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control were task order-based projects and were shared between the owner, the design firm, and the general contractor. In this model, a clear definition of roles and responsibilities was important, especially when conflicts arise in the field. The Ardmore Roderick team has worked on both sides of this type of model; therefore, we were able to provide levelheaded and unbiased feedback when needed. We helped the team determine how to resolve issues quickly and stay on schedule.
