Ardmore Roderick recently held its annual all-staff meeting, bringing together our team from around the country. Staff from Orlando, FL, Norristown, PA, Champaign, IL and our corporate office in Chicago spent the afternoon socializing but most importantly, were treated to a presentation of our accomplishments over the past year and where we are headed. Rashod Johnson, PE, President & CEO and Frank Powers, PE, SE, Executive Vice President spoke to the Ardmore Roderick team on topics including our recent project wins, our commitment to diversity and company culture, and our community involvement.

Key project selections discussed include: the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority’s Systemwide Maintenance Facilities Construction Management Upon Request contract; O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport’s Program Management projects to improve passenger experience and operational efficiency; the Chicago Transit Authority’s Electric Rapid Charge Stations; our recently launched ARS&L venture’s Atlantic City Transmission Line project located in New Jersey; the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s South Terminal Project which we perform Program Management services; and finally, the Illinois American Water’s Sludge Lagoon located in Champaign, IL where our team oversees construction of the 2-acre waste treatment plant.

Ardmore Roderick’s team has become widely involved with a variety of organizations as a way to give back to our community. Part of or team volunteered for Project SYNCERE’S ENPowered Games, a citywide engineering competition in which over 400 middle schoolers showcased their STEM knowledge through activities and strategy. Our Illinois team recently participated in home re-building with Milhouse Engineering and Habitat for Humanity. Ardmore Roderick’s very own Cherryl Thomas, Chief Strategic Officer, hosted our first ConvHERsations which brought together the women of our Illinois offices for an evening of networking and industry discussions.

Rashod Johnson and Frank Powers also gave staff a look into the year ahead, discussed opportunities for employees and administrative functions. The day wrapped up with team photos and a little bit of fun.
